Here you will learn how you can improve your olympic lifting skills, through proper technique drills, as well as specific strength training. Come join myself, Charles McDonald, the Big Impact & CrossFit Fox Valley team, in improving your olympic weight lifting craft.
What is the Stoic Barbell Club?
1.) a person who can endure pain or hardship without showing their feelings or complaining.
No worries...this will not be a boot camp class. We want to develop a mindset of hard work, focus, patience, and daily self-improvement. Olympic lifting can be hard and frustrating. Starting by training the proper mindset will yield gains much higher than those individuals without.
We will work with individuals with zero experience in olympic lifting, to those who want to compete and take it to another level.
Our classes will typically last an hour, and we recommend bringing lifters if you have them. If not, no worries we'll help you out with any pair of shoes you have to work with!
